Perth Safety Seminar 3rd March
ALL WELCOME
AOPA will partner with RACWA and CASA to host a free Safety Seminar and Fly In at
Jandakot on the Saturday the of 3rd of March 2012.
Building on our successful seminar held in Bendigo last November, we plan
to run a similar program at RACWA Jandakot, combining an educational program
within a social atmosphere is, we consider, the best learning
environment in which to promote safety.
We believe we need to take responsibility for our own safety; we also need to identify when a situation is becoming unsafe. AOPA consider these
seminars will enable participants to recognise the danger signs and then
make the right decisions.
The speakers are all people of considerable aviation experience, from varied
backgrounds, with the ability to impart their knowledge in an
interesting format.
RACWA have excellent facilities, with a restaurant on site, and the runways
of Jandakot Airport at their doorstep, I cannot think of a better facility in
which to conduct a Safety Seminar. Perth is a great city with benign
weather, a perfect spot to fly in to. Visitors from inter-state will not be
dissapointed if they make the effort to attend and we would hope that WA
aviators avail themselves of this opportunity to attend. AOPA Directors will
be in attendance and available to answer your questions on AOPA activity and
GA issues.
We welcome all attendees – this is not an exclusive AOPA, RACWA event – all
aviators and their friends are welcome to participate in this educational
and social event.
Please contact AOPA Director Neill Rear for seating and catering purposes at neill.rear@aopa.com.au Lunch will be available on the Saturday at $18 per person.
We will be publishing an itinerary shortly and will post this on the AOPA web site as well as sending out electronically to our members via eAopa.
