AOPA Vice-President Brian Hannan met with Airservices Australia management on Wednesday 28 May. He reported that it was a very productive meeting, strongly focused on outcomes from the GA survey. Over 600 responses were received, and Airservices are committed to examining and improving their existing processes in respect of those matters brought out by GA participants.

It is anticipated that the improvements will be of great benefit to GA, and also enhance aviation safety.

Two early possibilities will be overhauling NAIPs to make it user friendly, and allowing GA users to access and download aviation charts.
